Default Can the small notebooks run CS4 products?

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out there knew if the new small notebooks, you know the ones ($300-$400) were able to run Adobe Photoshop CS4 or Adobe Illustrator CS4.

I mean the specs are 1.6 Ghz Atom Processor and usually 1 Gig of Ram... (I hear you can upgrade to 1.5 or 2 maybe).

Wondering if anyone has tried this.
    Best Regards,

You should read the specs that Adobe CS4 needs to operate on their site. It will tell you more accurately if notebook has what it needs.

Also keep in mind if the laptops you are looking at are running vista your going to need a gig just to run the OS decently. Photoshop ideally needs a gig as well. If I remember correctly CS4 needs at least a 1.8ghz processor.

I would recommend if your going to buy a laptop (or any computer parts) to buy its from newegg.com. They nearly always have the cheapest prices out of any online website, and it will be cheaper then buying it from best buy or a local retailer.

    Thanks a lot,

I was thinking maybe I could install it but it would run a little slow, but now I may just wait until they become as good as normal laptops lol.
