    Question Windows Exlporer not responding!

    I am running windows vista 32 & have IE 8 installed although it has a problem and freezes up too and can only be shut down thru Taskmanager. I use Firefox to browse and preview sites.
    The taskbar also freezes up from time 2 time.

    I haver checked other forums and found no real solution except from some guy in China who says to disable the clock feature, as best as I can understand.

    No Clock?? Not an option for me!

    Anybody have this problem or know how to resolve it correctly?

    I have no virus or syware on my system (according to AVG-paid version)

    Sounds like Windows didnt update completely or needs to be rebooted again to free up resources..

    Clear cache and temp.. totally shut down, and reboot. If this doesnt work.. run system restore to reset your settings.

    Also check to make sure you arent running windows virus and windows defender.. the last is one culprit that causes ISSUES everywhere. You will need to go into your computer cpanel and services and totally disable it and shut it off.

    I have been running windows defender 4 more than 3 yrs & never had a problem. The "explorer not responding" has only been happening a few months.

    Doesnt mean there isnt a first time for everything. Just because you didnt have a KNOWN issue til now.
