Default Anyone had any problems with latest windows update?

I couldn't get onto explorer today until I restored my system to BEFORE the latest windows update (17/06/06). Has anyone else had this problem?

Not particularly that problem, Trish, but countless similar and other ones. I changed my browser and have had a blissful internet experience ever since. http://flashpeak.com for SlimBrowser which was highly recommended and I love it. There are plenty of others out there too. I wouldn't recommend Netscape 8 either.

Thanks both - not sure I'm brave enough to try another browser, but if this keeps happening I will have to!

Hello limebrook1
did you update the IE Browser to the new one, if you did get rid of it, it's nothing but trouble.

Trish, it's easy peasy lemon squeezy, to add a new browser and it's a lot more user friendly than IE, believe me! It's your call but I wouldn't put up with any more nonsense if I didn't have to.

I.E and Netscape both giving problems but nothing too drastic as yet... I'll try Amandas suggestion if I get really blogged down. What about mozilla - firefox. I've heard it gets the job done without any problems...anyone know anything on this?
