  • Retrieving Photos

    Good morning,

Recently downloaded latest version of BV and find my drop down menu bar now needs realigning. When I republish the images are not found. Photos have been moved to various files since my computer crashed last week. Is it possible to republish without manually finding and replacing each photo? I've done this for our index and hotel pages which are most frequently viewed but hope there is a less time consuming way of repairing the remaining pages.

    Thank you,
    Marcie

    Re: Retrieving Photos

You can add it to your page with a bit of html. I build my sites with bv this way & its very handy when there is a problem. It is extra work, but it also speeds the uploading of the pages when you make a change
IE: add the code below to a html box.

Where should I add this code?
      What exactly will it do?

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the help!

same photo problem plus new one with favicon.ico

        Good evening!
Still not clear as to how I can republish pages without access to original photos?
Also notice in awstats since downloading latest version of BV that hits on favicon.ico have dropped to 0 from ALWAYS hovering around 100%. What could this be caused by?
        Thank you!

          Re: Retrieving Photos

On your BV page remove the image that is not showing & replace with a html box & then add that code above in the html box. (Naturally using the correct image url) Now! save & preview. If all ok? Publish.
You will have to right click on your images on your website to get the url.
          Regards Chris.
