I purchased the plug-in SEO Sitemaps. My sitemap is up,I notified google, and they acknowledged it. However, I am trying to register my sitemap with google using the html file method. The google html verification file is uploaded to my site, but I am getting the following message when I click the google verification button:
Verification failed for http://www.nativestar.org/ using the HTML file method (less than a minute ago). Your verification file was not found.
Also, when I check the google html code at http://www.nativestar.org/google09bd25a88d7da383.html , I get a 404 not found message.
The same thing has happened when I try to register with yahoo.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
