  • PayPal test page

I have a button of PayPal and enabled sandbox.

When i click the button i get to PayPal test page.

When i look down the page it says:

    Cancel and return to piano@icanpiano.net
But... this is my mail -- not my web site.

When i cancel the sandbox and tried to make a real purchases it says down the page:
    Cancel and return to: icanpiano
But.. The icanpiano link refer the page to the success page where the buyer can get
the product but the customer did not make the purchases yet.

    Any ideas what to do?

    Re: PayPal test page

Typically you need 2 pages for your visitor

A 'cancellation' page and a success page where the customer can get the product.

        Re: PayPal test page

I got to be honest with you, like you I have always had trouble with the Sandbox?

For testing purposes I would set it up for real, but using a test amount say £1 or $1 and get a friend to test it for you. Get them to test it while you are on the phone to make sure everything functions as you expect.

Once you are happy set the price to the correct amount.

....and dont forget to refund your friend...lol

            Re: PayPal test page

            OK
I tried to pay with a friend.

He managed to pay but when he clicked on RETURN TO MERCHANT.
He got a page saying it is false internet page.
The page was not mentioned there so i don't know where it got him.

I checked my success page -- the one i have putted in the PayPal button and it is working fine.

            any ideas.

              Re: PayPal test page

I have vistited this site http://icanpiano.net/. Hopefully correct site (clue in the email address further up)

              Is this your payment page?

If so this is an issue with ClickBank an not BV.

I tend to use paypal - business account where you can accept both paypal and credit cards. I can advise on BV/PayPal but I can not with ClickBank.

                Re: PayPal test page

                No.
www.icanpiano.net is now connected to clickbank.

I do wish to connect it to paypal.

I ran a test page with a button on $0.60

                Thanks

                      Re: PayPal test page

                      Yes i did.

I gave pages other names though:

I did not use http:// so that might be the reson.
Also my crdid card is an old one and not in use althogh paypal said there is no problem with it.
My friend that bought the product did pay for it. Only never got to the success page.

                      Thanks

                          Re: PayPal test page

                          OK.
I did add http:// to failure page and tried with and without it.

It works with http:// and does not work with out.

I think that should be mentioned in the video tutorial if it's not.

I will also let you know if it works on the succsess page.
                          I think it sould be.

                          Thanks
