    Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not been around much, just getting ready for the trip. Trying to make money too!

I have a question for you, does anyone keep a winter kit in there car. What is in there if you don't mind telling me.

    You guys are the best.

When I lived in the state I had winter stuff in the boot (trunk) on top of regular emergency supplies - winter stuff inclded those sprays tht melt the snow/ salt for the ground - you the type they sell in the authosotores at wintere/ and some large cardboard or two small planks of plywood - therse are to fit under your tires to get you out if you get stuck.

    • Jumper cables to restart engine
Cat litter or sand for tire traction on snow and ice
Shovel to s****e snow away from tires
    Ice s****er to clear windshield
Warm clothes gloves, a hat, sturdy boots, warm jacket and even a change of clothes
Blankets to keep warm inside the vehicle
Flashlights and extra batteries for increased visibility
First aid kit also pack necessary medications incase you are stuck on the road
Food pack items containing protein such as nuts and energy bars, also canned fruit and a portable can opener are good additions
Water bring enough for each person in your car and any pets
AM/FM radio to listen to traffic reports and emergency messages
    Also consider...

Bring a cell phone if you have one with a list of emergency numbers. Baby formula and diapers if you have a small child.

A flashlight, a jacket, some chocolate bars and a phone charger. With AWD doubtful if getting stuck is an issue. Used to have cat litter with rear wheel drive car. And of course jumper cables are nice, never know when someone migth need yr help.
What is not usual stateside is a fire extinguisher. Mandatory in some countries.
