Thread: IE 8 is here and it is much.......

Hi All,

I just tested the Internet Explorer 8 which I found to be fast and good.

Why dont you guys test it out and provide feedback.

Its a pain in the bum if you have other browser tools that let you transfer to IE. They stopped working.

It's on the same par as Google Chrome... I need say no more!

Is this IE8 the finalized product or is it the beta version...... I tried the beta a couple of months back and had nothing but trouble with ....... even IE7 gave me trouble now and then...... 2 months ago I changed to Mozilla Firefox 3 and all my troubles are over so far no problems at all.......and it's so much faster than IE7 when browsing the net.

There has been an uproar of the showing of your browser history on the home page of the browser, which you can't turn off. Imagine buying your loved one a surprise birthday gift online for her to see it before she gets it?

Mind you, I can think of a few things immediately it will put a stop to when it comes to browsing the net!

Thanks for the warning:

To avoid lock-in, Maliouta instructs users to first uninstall Windows XP SP3, then uninstall IE8 Beta 1 or Beta 2; then reinstall XP SP3 and then install IE8 RC1.

As for me, I never install any type of Beta software or program on my PC.

As IE and FF has been mentioned, I have been using Opera for the last 4 years...........super (and my black box problem has disappeared with the latest version Ramsey....wow)

I agree -- Opera and Slimbrowser are both far superior to Firefox in so many ways it is a mystery why it is still so popular despite all the flaws built in and no hope of them ever being "cured" (being a derivative of the NetScape code), other than it is simply "free" ......

... I'm still waiting for the companion browser to the Ms. Dewey Search Engine that was up until recently --- that will be one to enjoy, for sure!

I wish I could delete and erase any trace of it off of my system. When IE somehow manages to launch itself through the likes of windows live messenger that some of the others here use, the only way for me shut it down is through Task Manager since IE just does not respond.

I think that they should add its name to the list of viruses in anti-virus software!

I downloaded IE8 and had MAJOR problems, I ended up going back to last good configurtion b4 pc would quit acting up. I dont like firefox, it is almost as bad as IE. Will check out diff browsers to use.
