Thread: Correct IP Address

I have finally done my first website and am trying to publish it. However, I am given a list of IP addresses when I hit the publish button but none of them match the one I was given in my login information email. My question therefore is twofold:

Can I add the IP address to this list ? and/or

Will my IP address be different that on the email (i.e is it temporary) ?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I am finally on the brink of joining the 21st century ! !

i am so confused if i have an ip address or not to publish my first website. i know my user name & password though.

What does an IP address for four seperated numbers stand for?

Example: 74.52.103.210

I do not know what to do.
