    Default pages lost when published

    Please help...
I finally published tonight, but only 3 of my 7 pages are there!
I noticed one thing, all the missing pages were named with two words. I thought I fixed it, but to no avail. Here's the scoop:
    ex) saved as "contact us"
published as "contact us" - successful
lost the page - error 404
    Renamed page "contact_us"
    Republished page "contact_us"
    still lost

I'm hoping that I'm overlooking something really simple, as this is the tenth hour today on the computer. !

Thank you for any quick responses...

    Hi Pam

Have you had a look in the FTP manager to see if and where your page was uploaded?

You cannot have any blank spaces.
contact us must become (renamed) contact_us, contact-us, or contactus.
Something similar to that...no blank spaces.

    OK, so far so good...

the link should be as so:

    www.yourdomainname.com/contact_us.html

When making links the "html" must be at the end of the URL

Do not add the .html to the page name when saving

The "index" page may be linked/named:

    www.yourdomainname.com

This is the only page that does not have to have the html added to the link.

You said that you published as "contact_us" but the link is to "contactus".
Perhaps the other pages/links have the same sort of problem?

I manually typed in the "contact_us" URL and got your page.

The link on your page is to "contactus"

Thank you so much for all the input and research. I think it helped...I realized that I needed to add the underscore between the words in all my URLs. That's a plus!
So, I went through my pages, correcting all the links page by page, and republished all of them.
Now I am only missing one page - "about us" - which I'll republish again, hopefully it'll be right this time.
I also noticed that even after I changed all the text links across the bottom of my webpage, not all of them changed when published, so they are still not all linking. Is there an easier way to fix links other than going into properties for each page and then republishing each page?
If the answer is to go to my FTP manager, then please, a little advice, as I am not sure what that means and what I need to do when I get there.
Sorry if I come across as a big doofus, still learning...

Hey, just want to let you know that all my links are working, and the problem with the "About Us" page is fixed. It was merely a typo in the URL.

    Hooray!!!

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction for where I may have made a mistake, CarbonTerry, I really appreciate it!

    Hi Pam

Your FTP manager is an icon at the top of your Blue Voda Builder. You click on it and type in your password ( you were given at registration) and once in the FTP manager just connect. On the right hand side you will see all the files and pages you have published.

Hope this helps in the future.

Pam: I, too, have lost pages. However, there is no ftp icon on my Voda Web Building page. Any thoughts on that one?

Click on "tools" at the top of the web builder page...it's in there.

    Sorry everyone

I meant to say Tools as apposed to Icons, haven't used the FTP manager for a little while. Thanks for correcting me Preston.
