    Default Using/Naming with PHP

    Hello,
I see when saving with BV one does not name with the html extension as it automatically renames to html upon publishing. But what if I am using php? Do I just "save as" with a php extension?

And BTW, does BV insert extraneous code that confuses php like frontpage does?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi!

Just right-click on the page background, choose page properties and change the file extension to php.

Yes, you change the extension to PHP in the
    right click - page properties.

On your other question, it depends on the content of the PHP script, but you could always use an html box to insert your PHP.........

    You are welcome!

On the left hand menu the top button is the HTML button. (If you hover your mouse over the buttons - a little tag appears describing each one). Click this and drag a box onto the page. You can also go to > Insert > Advanced > HTML. When you have made the HTML box - double click it and paste in your code.
