Thread: This is gonna make me crazy-12002 error-Help please

Hi guys,

I tried everything

installed Firefox
add Bv and BFTP to the exception in the firewall

I even just got my disk formated

I checked my connection - it's fine
I increased the time out in BV to 600

I said I tried everything, I still get that bloody 12002 error

PLS anyone can help me here?

Hi, are you sure you are publishing to the right IP address, with correct name & password. (usually what,s is related to a 12002 error)

I'm pretty sure I'm using the IP I was given

and I'm pretty sure that's the only Ip exists in BV which is showing front of the server in vodahost.com >customer login

normally the wrong ip gives you the 12014 error

Please, on the off chance that this could affect you, check the Voda2 and Voda 6 Service Notices in this forum. These servers have recently been upgraded and this might be why you are experiencing this problem. Just an idea.

If that what is affecting my publishing situation, it said that's going to take 48 hours.

It's been a week now, is it still affected?

I'm publishing to the right Ip with the right password and user name, but still getting that probleme.

Please read the notices again, Nite Producer, as those changes are permanent and each server (Voda 2 and Voda 6) now have NEW IP addresses. If you are on one of those then you may be publishing to the old IP address. I'm not saying that this is the reason for your problem but it's worth checking thoroughly. Quite a few people have been caught out by these changes, including myself. Lol

Just to give you more info about the prob, I can access my Cpanel, I added folder and everything but still nothing.

and even more, when I connect via BlueFTP, my folders don't show up, none zeltch, there are no folder, just a blank page.

ok the new IP for the Voda6 is 75.126.124.162 right?

Yup, that's correct. If this problem persists, I would submit a support ticket. They will sort you out.
