Smile Where I have to upload my Site?

hi guys,

this is my first post. i uploaded my site to my cpanel. but the files are not in my public folder. its just as a normal file and is not displaying how it should.

i used dreamweaver to upload my files. isn't it in the public folder I have to upload my files to?

If yes how do I do that in dreamweaver.

what do I have to name my main page? is it bluevoda.html or index.html?

I don't know if I explain myself clearly. If not answer this question..,please...

How do I upload my site so it can display properly?

Warm regards,

WayneH

your files need to be in your public_html folder

your home page should be index.html make sure that you dont name it index.html and then have an html suffix to make it index.html.html

I think you made it through dw right? if you make it with BV, you can't upload, but mus publish.

Thumbs up Re: Where I have to upload my Site?

aconstas1 is right just view the tutorials they teach you everything you need to know about BV. All the publishing issues are dealt with there. If you are using a different program such as Dreamweaver then upload them to the public_html folder as stated by aconstas1.

Good Luck and if you have any more questions just ask.
