url question

Hi friends,

I just published a new webpage, but then I realized that I have no idea what the URL will be. How do I find the URL of the page I just published?
I added a subdomain to juliannnewton.com and it is income_insights. (Which is the name of the new page I made.)

My baby is screaming and I can't think, so thank you in advance for your help.

Hey,

If your domain is www.domain.com and you saved your page as homepage.bvp

Then it should be www.domain.com/homepage.html <-- notice the .html and not .bvp

Hi Juliann: I'm trying to figure out what you are saying. You have the domain www.juliannnewton.com. Is income_insights a webpage you created to link to from your juliannnewton.com site? If it is just a webpage, then my question would be, did you publish it to your public_html folder? If so, I should be able to type in www.juliannnewton.com/income_insights.html and bring it up, but I tried that and it did not work.
If you have a subdirectory named income_insights, then if I typed in www.juliannnewton.com/income_insights/income_insights.html it should come up, providing the name of the webpage you published is the same name of the subdirectory. But that doesn't come up either.

Now I did find under, www.juliannnewton.com/incomeinsights a subdirectory. No underscore between income and insights, so you must have set up a subdirectory in your main public_html folder, but I don't see any index page published to that sub directory yet.

So you need to clarify is it a webpage, subdirectory, subdomain or explain a little bit more what it is you published.

That's the most common extension and it's necessary to use it for your page to be visible.

I kind of wish it was a shorter name. Is there an easy way to change it?

Success, yes your page is coming up........and there is nothing wrong with the name of your page as that describes what it is.
