Thread: Publishing help

Hey Everyone,
please help me.. i'm very new to this.
Okay well ive been building my website with bluevoda.
and i HAVE bought everything i need to publish my site, including a domain name.
which is http://www.dollyscreams.com
i have tried to publish my site... but it always gets published to my temporary url.http://75.126.169.138/~dobwbzda/
have i done something wrong?????
how can i get my website published to the right website... i have watched the tutorials over and over again.

How long has it been since you received your welcome email?

it can take awhile before your true domain name has spread thoughout the internet.

Having said that, you should be able to publish to your temp url....the above urls both give an Illegal address message.

Check the spelling of your temp url in your welcome email.............

If you still have problems, post here again for futher advice.

im actully not sure but i have been signed up for about 5 days now.

i have read all emails thoroughly and none seem to help me.

i hope it workds this time if it dosent work clicking on it try copy and pasteing it into and already opened internet browser.

-After you create your "Home" page Save it as index and then Publish. When you click the Publish button, make sure that your Server IP from the e-mail you received matches one on the list. Add your user name and password. The folder would be public_html

Your domain name is not pointed to a VodaHost server, Even though you purchaed it from us. You still have not defined a server. Please contct our customer support department and we will take cate of this for you, ask them to set your name servers.

I feel dumb for asking this but how do i contact the customer support department?
if i have to ring up.. i live in australia will it cost alot of money to call?

Go to http://support.vodahost.com and submit a ticket. You do NOT need to log in, just click "submit ticket" and very carefully fill in the details.
