Thread: Publishing ERROR message 550

Can someone please tell me where i am going wrong, i have published it ok once today but i forgot to add meta tags etc. So now trying to republish ! Now i am getting the same message. Its the index page to my new domain (2nd) name www.thelittlefavourboxcompany.com. I have another 10 -15 pages to publish and even after reading forums and tutorials i still cant grasp it sorry ! So any advice on how to go about publishing the rest would be awesome too !

I get no errors, Karen. The page opens fine for me.

To publish to an addon domain, simply add that domain's name after public_html in the publishing window. So, you'd want to publish to: public_html/thelittlefavourboxcompany

Can you please tell me did you see the page on the web? as its there but i need to republish with the added metatags ! So i take from your saying when i publish next page i put pblic-htmlmysiteinfo then at end page title is this right? DOH sorry such a divvy with this stuff hubby not around at the mo he usualy deals with this, so ime goin alone here !

sorry forgot to say that whatever i put into that bar for file when publishing its wrong hence he message 550.

Yes, I saw the page live - large page with a purple border and a menu down the left side.

When you publish the next page(s), if you want them to go to the domain you're referencing here, use the example I gave you in my first post - don't add anything to it.

The error you're getting is because you're entering incorrect details in the publishing window.

So what do i need to put in there? Sorry cant remeber what used this morning and i have tried so may dif variations ! Sorry this is doing my head in now and i think ontop of it pc about to crash by sounds of it !

no such folder or file
