Thread: Cant view pages on Web

I am trying to add new pages to my site. All the new pages published successfully. I can view the amended index page on the web, but I cant view any of my new pages - it is telling me 'the page cannot be found'. What I have I done wrong?

Yes, I know you can see www.paphosproperty.eu, but if you click on 'Special Offers' you will not be able to enter the rest of the site, because you cannot view the other pages. As I said, they published successfully, but they cannot be viewed.

Hi. You have left the .html extension off your link to that page.
IE:

http://www.paphosproperty.eu/offers.html.

Thanks, that has solved one problem, but now when you are in my 'Special Offers' page, the navigation buttons do not work. I entered '.html' after each button as you suggested and then 'successfully published, but the '.html' does not appear when you put the cursor over the button. I have now added extra text, and successfully published again, but the extra text does not appear on the page. This must mean that my original page (without '.html') has not been overwritten by my amended page, when the amended page has been published. Can you help?

The three buttons seem to work fine for me?
Try going to the offers page & hit F5 ½ a dozen times to clear the cache. It may solve the problem. Also with any others .

It is happening again! I am making changes to www.paphosproperty/availabilityDGA205, and successfully publishing the page, but then my changes do not appear on the web. Help!

Shaun do you know how to clear your cache?
Either hit F5 a half a dozen times, or go to tools, internet options, settings, clear temp internet files (this is in internet explorer - I don't know how to do it in firefox)
this should take care of your problem.

Shaun: If I go to your home page and click on show property for DGA205, it comes up for me without a problem. So it must be your cache as previously mentioned!

Shaun: Just visited your site again and everything is looking fine for me. I see where you have added some photos with a 7/27/07 date on them. Have you cleared your cache, as has been mentioned above several times? When everyone else can see your updated pages, but you can't, that is a sure sign that it is your computer's cache.

Also, when you have a problem, you need to be more specific than you last post. Instead of saying, "my pages aren't being updated again" be specific as to what page and what should we be seeing, that way we can respond better as to what we are pulling up.
