    Exclamation Publishing Site

    Hi there!
Greetings from New Zealand! I'm trying to publish my website and I keep getting a message saying " You must first save this page in order to publish it". I've tried clicking 'Save Page' and 'Save Page As' & 'Save as template'.
I've even tried clicking on the little disc icon. Has anyone else has this problem or does anyone know if I'm doing anything wrong?

    Any help gratefully accepted!

    Cheers!

Close BV (after you have saved) open again and try to publish.

    Hi,
Tried starting again as you suggested, even tried reinstalling the software, still getting the error.
Does anyone know of any specific software that BlueVoda is known to conflict with?

After reinstalling BV, clear cache and history from your pc.
Try saving your page under a different name i.e. 'backup' and delete the original. Then open the 'backup' page and save it as your intended target.
    Publish.

Hi ivo... When I've had the problem of not being able to save it was because I had more than one Web Builder open at the same time.. in other words make sure that only one web builder - one browser screen is open.. then it will save and publish... Doug

are you naming the page you wish to save correctly?

Example - all small letters, no spaces and nothing added after the name of the page??

example ... page named grapes save as grapes only ...

do not add .bvp or .html when naming, saving and publishing pages ...

    ???

Hi - are you a voda host customer? have you purchased a voda hosting account and pointed your domain to voda servers or requested a domain name transfer??? If this has just been recent it may take a bit to have things transferred and working in your account .. Just remain patient ..

Hi Zoeker. If you have created your pages with BlueVoda, you can only publish with VodaHost if you have subscribed. BV is a free web design program for all webmasters hosting with VodaHost.

No BlueVoda is free. VodaHost is a webhosting company and you subscribe (and pay of course) to them to be able to host with them. They give you BlueVoda as a free gift to create your pages, but you need to host your pages with VodaHost.

VodaHost is very affordable and a very good value for money. Hope to see you here in Vodaland....

Yes BlueVoda is for free. The money you pay is not for BlueVoda, it is for hosting your site.

You see, it works like this: VodaHost has computer servers where they store your website pages and they are operating 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When visitors visit your website, the actually view it on the VodaHost servers.

To start with this there are TWO things you must do:
First, you need to register a domain name. This is the name of your website. VodaHost can do that on your behalf and after all, they offer it to you for free.
Secondly, you register with VodaHost to host your pages (the content of your website). This is what you are paying for.

As a gift to you for hosting with them, VodaHost gives you BlueVoda program for absolutely free.

I hope this helps a little...

Yes, that is correct. In other words, if you do not have a place/ comapany who can store your published site pages, where are you going to publish to anyway.

Remember, pages that are created with BlueVoda can only be published to VodaHost servers.
