Thread: My 1st attempt at publishing

I have used VodaHost for at least a year, but only minimally. I have moved my website finally to vodahost and it is composed by Namo Web publisher.

I just made my 1st page using Blue voda ( BV ) and the publish feature within BV did not have the proper server IP address. How do I edit it? It will not allow me to type in a number.

so i use my ftp within Namo and place the file called home.bvp along with the folder Images and it's contents into the public_html folder in a folder called youth. my thinking the address should be www.marvinchurch.com/youth/home.bvp

when I type in this address it open in blue Voda but not in an IE window.
What did I do wrong and how to correct?

Hi, name your page as just “index” & publish to public_html/youth/
Remember to save this index page in another folder or it will over right your main index page.

ok i changed name to index and placed under youth and when I type in
http://www.marvinchurch.com/youth/index.bvp
I bring up a screen to open it in Bluevoda or to save the page.
How do I make it open in IE ?

I still need to affress this problem also.

Hi, your ip address should be in the ip drop down list. If its not? You may have an old version of BV & need to re-download the program again to up date the list.

You don't have to add any extensions when publishing & the bvp part is automatically made into html when published. Your page may look a bit odd because i think you uploaded it.
