Thread: Publishing Changes

Hi! I publish my home page and everything went fine. I made changes to my home page, published it, but the changes are not being seen. I did not clone my pages, I saved and published it to the public_html folder, pressed F5 a bunch of times and still no changes. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong????

Hi, we cannot tell if it is just you having difficulty viewing the changes, (if you are using aol this is quite common) or if the changes are not occuring.
If you could tell us what we are supposed to see for changes on your site we could let you know if we see them ...

Be sure you are publishing to the correct domain if you have more than one.

You're are supposed to see "Coming soon...please visit again". I only have one domain and am not using aol so I'm not sure what it could be :(.

No, I do not see your changes either ...

No chance you have two "index" pages on the go do you?

I am sure you are working on your site, but I too noticed on your nav bar you need to apply .html at the end of some of your links ... you also might consider having your navigation bar on all pages .. (you are probably doing all of this).

Perhaps you might go into your control panel, delete the page called index and then republish the page called index and see if that works ...

Or even before this, try making a new page, called test ... put a couple words on it and publish that and see if you are able to call that via your domain name and /test.html

I am still working on it that's why I wanted to change it to say "Coming soon..." but now my unfinished pages are out there :(. I'll try deleting it and starting over. Thank you so much for your help!
