Thread: 12029 error??????

Hi, i have been trying to publish a page to the server & keep getting Error 12029. Normally i would check my firewalls/passwords/ext cetera (which i have done) & no joy.
But if i take the same page & publish it on another VH server it all works fine, which if i am right this is not a fire wall issue at my end (i think).

Any suggestions what it may be.

Not sure if this will help. But.. the other day i was working on someone elses site, cant remember if it was the same error tho... But i published using their passwords etc.

Later, I went to my site.. same server...and forgot i still had the other sites passwords on there.. and it wouldnt let me on..of course as it shouldnt, but im wondering if it isnt the same sort of issue? Did ya tic that remember me password thing?

Hi Karen, I actually have quite a complicated & long password, so I use the same one for both servers, so all I have to change the IP & user name. Saves popping this p/word in every time. Its just strange I can publish to one server & not the other. The same p/word gets me into the c panel on both servers, so this part hasn’t changed. (Strange). Will have to pop a support ticket in tomorrow & see if it could be anything at the server end. I will sleep on it, as I know sometimes miraculous things can happen over night & it will be all working the next day. LOL.

I also am having problems today. Always worked before though. Which server are you having problems with?

4-5 hours ago i couldn't get the site up at all. So i assumed there was some maintenance going on. But since then i have been unable to publish.

AH!!! Thats the one that won't work for me either. It is obviously the server.

Popping in a support ticket, then off to bed. LOL
