Thread: Home page turned into plain old text? Help !

In my website builder it looks fine, published it and previewed it and still looks fine. I went into file manager and opened the file in the html editor and previewed there and looks fine. I close everything, log in, open my browser and go to my site. That's when I'm seeing what looks like my index page in text format. Listing all my files and folders ! I don't think thats good at all. What did I do wrong. Was fine for days now, but today I was messing with Google and sitemaps and since then have problems.
I could use some big help here. Thanks in advance.

Never give up, that's my motto. Although my hair is quickly graying, I'm learning a lot. I fixed it by renaming the page ( index ) again. I had changed it to ( find_it_index.html ) and that was the cause of my headaches. Once corrected and republished, all in life was good again.
Thank the lord for aspirin.
