Default page coding

Hey

I wanted to know whether its possible if the coding of the pages i have published can b protected so that if anyone right clicks n tries to view source,it would be encrypted or sumthing like that.so that they are not able to see the code of that particular page.Is dat possible??
reply would be appreciated.

NO.

Well, you could make it so they can't see it by right clicking - but you can't stop it from being seen. What are you trying to hide? If you don't want it seen - don't put it on the internet.

Hi, the right click part helps in just making it a little harder to copy images, but will not stop the viewing of images & pages. To stop any one seeing your pages you will have to place the pages in a protected folder where a password word be needed to view these pages. This link may help for this, LINK.

Good luck.

Hey collectors info

U got me wrong, what i meant was when a person right clicks on a page on the internet n clicks on view source, they are able to see the coding of the website,my question here is-is there anyway that the coding cannot be seen?

You can put in a script that disables right click on a website.

I do NOT recommend it. It can and will irritate people who might be trying to help you (like some of us on the forum.) Yes, I can go around it - but if you asked me to help and you had it disabled, even though I know how to go around it - my answer to you would be that I won't help because you have made it more difficult for me -

And the people who want to steal - could care less if you disable right click - as they probably aren't using that method to see the code anyway.

If you're using IE as a browser - go to View and click on Source - no need to right click LOL
