Thread: Another question on add-on domains..Nother way to do it?

Hey all,

I did figure out how to add another website to my domain with add ons through C-panel.

Question.

The new website is working but the url is tied into my other website, as an add on. Is there another way to register the domain with my cpanel account with out having it tied into my other website?

Main website is www.diydatabase.net

Add on is www.diydatabase.net/drwdesigners.com


I would love to have the designers website separate from the database. Is there a way to do that without having to have a whole new vodahost account?

You'd probably have to open a new account for the add on..to have it out of its present account... Doug

Your addon IS independent. Click on http://www.drwdesigners.com/

But you will see it both ways in the cpanel because you only have ONE VH account - and one has to show as the main account. By adding the other as an addon - how it looks in the cpanel does not mean it isn't an independent account - as Naval has shown you above.

I got it now. I though the search / browser url had to be the entire link. Thank you naval and Beth, that answered my question.
