You should not upload your pages. You must Publish them by clicking the Publish button in BV. The pages will automatically be uploaded as html files. Just make sure your home page is called index (no capitals; no spaces). Please watch the tutorials for more details.
And last, but not least. Welcome to Vodaland and enjoy the experience.
Are you from SA, lol? The surname surely is SA.
