Thread: no images show on FF

nor does the back ground color...why?

If it is related to the link you gave in your signature,....then everything works fine in FF.

yeah it is, I re loaded new version of FF Mozilla but still no images....not on any other site. mages just don't show no red x's...works great on IE

Hi Choco, everything is showing up fine here, (IE & FF) Even the green Aztec'y backgrounds. I wonder if something on your own browser is blocking images?

It must be here, what would one check???? I have down loaded the FF again, could it be that I changed my predetermined browser to IE7 and that messed up the FF, which to that point I used exclusively?

Hi, when in IE try Tools>Internet Options>Advance Tab> Scroll down to Multimedia & check that the show pictures has a tick next to it & apply. It might also be worth ticking the enable third party extensions under browsing in the same area.

No, no change.

Strange! i can only suggest looking through (Tools>Internet Options>Advance Tab>) area & seeing if anything else might be creating this problem. Just do one change at a time & reset back to how it was if it dosnt solve it.
One other area that might be worth a look? & i am not sure if this is possible. Might you of somehow banned your self from your site? bit like stopping others using your images. I am not sure if this is possible.

In FF I have the webdeveloper tool bar enabled and one of those buttons is images. You can disable or enable images there.. and could be when you was clicking around you disabled them. Check on the tool bar for images, or Check View, tool bars, and enable that one if you have it and see if thats not the issue.

When I re installed or downloaded FF Mozilla I got something different than I have had in past...the toolbar is really non existent, it is just a google search bar with the ff icon in the add bar at top....on the page it says something about a www.toggle or something, so I tried download again and got emails right away asking for 3$ for site and add ons.???????????????
Before I had a complete browser in FF.

Hmm.. Choco.. not sure what you are downloading. Tons of addons for FF are free! Scan your puter for an ad virus, sounds like you got some pest going on that will HIJACK your browser.

no, thanks Karen but I've tried several anti virus and adware programs but nothing show.....I guess i ll keep looking, could it be that i googled FFMozilla instead on FF?
As long as it appears fine to others, which I don't know that it does, I'll be alright.
