missing buttons

When viewing my newly upload site on MY computer it looks good. But when I looked at it on three other computers lots of "gifs" were missing.
Out of 8 buttons up to six were missing, part of the main header was also missing, and several small backgrounds were mising too:

Does anyone know why this is so? Someone told me that I was uploading the pages to the wrong place....
