Thread: Index of/message

Hi, I just published my website, and when i typed in my URL into Internet Explorer, I recieve an Index of, with a list of items included in my website. What is this all about, I thought it would take me right to my website. my URl is as follows: http://www.pammy53.com

How did you publish you index page. When publishing a index page its small letters only no caps or anything else with it. if you had added html on the end of it this may have caused index of or the bvd. Just index then it should come up.

are you saying the only way anyone can see my website is to use the index? They will not be able to just type in my url?

No just open your index page then publish it as is nothing else added to it. then to see it online www.yourdomain.com

Hi, thank you for your help, I really appreciate it, however, whenever I try to rename it to index, a capital I keeps popping up, any suggestions. Thanks again for all the help

I finally figured it out, thank you so-oo very much for your help, I not there yet, and I know I still have alot to do. It is comming up in the browser, Thank you, again
