Thread: Website published but other site showing up

I have just recently had my domain name changed and have uploaded my bluevoda web pages correctly. I have checked my cpanel and see that everything that I have uploaded it there; however, when I type in my website's domain, a completely different website that I have not created pops up. The website is one of those sponsor/spam/search websites (www.uniquenashville.com). Is it possible that the domain name vodahost allowed me to change to was already taken by someone else? What is going on?

This is not another website, this is the holding page your registras use until your DNS propogates.

How long ago did you set the domain up? Have you pointed the domain to the correct servers?

The page you are seeing is a place holder put there by VodaHost, it takes up to 72 hours to set up your damain. Be patient and keep checking sometimes it takes less time.

that same thing just happened to me but i will wait one more day, still not 72 hours

Oh Marincky, I am so sorry. I am just now checking the post again. Voda Host sent me a message to let me know what was going on and I checked the site and everything was ok, so I hadn't checked the forum. You rock for the info!!!
