Exclamation Error Message I'm getting after Publishing

    HI ,

Sorry to be again guys . This is the error message I now get after publishing a second time, when I enter my url in the address bar:

    Not Found

The requested URL / was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.appear10yearsyounger.com Port 80

I'm just about trearing my hair out.

    have you published your
    index
    page for http://www.appear10yearsyounger.com

if so then check the spelling of your published page against that which you entered into your browser.
    .................................................. ..

re: your other 2 threads, it would help if you kept the same question or variation of the same question in one thread.

Otherwise it can get confusing with members answering or looking for an answer.

Yes I did try several times but if I go into blueftp and check out what's in the remote list , there is only 1 index.html yet there are other page files from the 2 websites. Would that mean that the main domain index file is being overwritten or what?

I have tonight republished the taketheleaddogtrainer.com index page but still the other website is not showing up on the internet, I get a 404 error now when I search for it.

I ask you again, which is your main site ?¿?¿?¿?¿

Once I know that, I can then give you correct examples of how to publish to your other sites.

And Yes you are publishing to the wrong site....................

    hello David,

Yes the dog site is the main domain and the skin site is the addon domain; this is all in order in cPanel from what I can see and there is an FTP account for both and a third website which I am creating.
    .................................................. .................................................. .

This is how you publish to these 2 different sites in 1 account.

when the publish dropdown box appears
check the details before you publish.

    Main site = http://www.taketheleaddogtrainer.com
    (publish to public.html)

    another site = http://www.appear10yearsyounger.com
    (publish to public.html/appear10yearsyounger.com)

If you have 2 different accounts with 2 different username and password, then let me know.__________________

    Thanks:)

    Hi,

I have tried to publish the addon site to public_html/appear10yearsyounger.com as you have suggested.

I got an error 550- Can't change directory to public.html/appear120yearsyounger.com No such file or directory

In that case the addon name has not been entered correctly or is different than
    appear10yearsyounger.com

When you addon a new domain name, a new folder will be created in your public_html directory.................check to see if its there.

If it isn't, then go back to your Cpanel and delete the new domain name and re-enter it correctly.....i.e. appear10yearsyounger.com
then check that the new folder has been created.

There is a folder in the local area of blueftp but not in the public_html directory of the remote area.

I then went to cpanel and....this is how it appears in cpanel:

    appear10yearsyounger.com public_html/appear10yearsyounger.com

The spelling is all correct from what I can see.
    Hope that clarifies things.

One thing I don't get is , when I have 2 different websites, how does the system differentiate between the index files of each website?
