    Default Changes will not publish?

My site http://www.9-09-09sale.com has been running a short time - I made some changes to the index page but the changes will not appear. Everything is ok with other sites I checked on Bluevoda. Why this one?
My main domain name is proofcheck.info.

Your browser is cacheing the old page. Hold down the "Ctrl" key and click on the "refresh" button on your browser.

Thanks but no. Should have mentioned that "refreshing" had already been tried (first thing). It's all very strange - it still won't work either on the index page or any other viewing area of 9-09-09sale.com.It publishes on the builder ok (or so it seems) but no changes show. I tried oksoftware4u.com a moment ago and it worked fine. Any ideas?

Make sure you didnt accidently remove the path to publish to in bv, make sure you are publishing to the public_html/ otherwise your files will go out side of the folder and not visible to the public.

Everything seems normal in the publishing box - public_html/ followed by the addon domain name (9-09-09sale). How do I check if the path somehow has/hasn't been changed?

public_html/9-09-09sale.com is correct IF that was the exact addon domainname and the name of the folder that was created for you.

Try checking that "ALL files" has been selected in the dropdown publish box before you publish.

Can you give us an example of one change, so that we can check that page..............other wise we are working in the dark??.

Yep - everything seems to comply - most of the applications in Blue Voda are automatic (id/password,html_public,all files,- etc.) except I need to type in the addon domain by replacing the previous entry.
I've added a "bookmark" widget on the LH side under my name and three e-book graphics along the RH side with text above the column.
I've tried again to no avail.

You said 9-09-09.com. Did you mean to add the .com? None of the domain names include the .com,.ws etc after public_html ... Just checking although that hasn't affected the other domain names.

That all depends on the Cpanel version that you have:
the latest one needs the url/address in full which includes the .com or whatever the extension is.

Cannot see those changes that you have made either......

Thumbs up Re: Changes will not publish?

    Hi,

You have to check all the possibilities suggested. Here is another one...

One tool in BlueVoda a lot of new users does not think is important in BlueVoda is the "Verify Link" function in Tools on the top toolbar.

Open the problematic page in BlueVoda and use the link verifyer above.

If the result is "Validated link" then you know you have done everything right on your page.

If it says "Url not found" then you know that you have done something wrong
like publishing to the wrong, directory, folder or file in your cPanel.

A-ha! Tried that on another domain name and it did verify. Our problem
domain name 9-09-09sale.com did not verify. How did that happen and what do I do to fix it? I've checked everything that needed to be checked - must have missed something.

Problem solved. As a last resort I decided to delete the addon domain(s) in the control panel and add them back on. It worked.
I notice a redirect box further down that maybe I accidently used. Other than that I've no idea what caused the problem.
