while publishing page it is giving
error 550 can't change directory to public_html : no such file to directory


how to resolve it

check that you are publishing to an existing folder/directory.

This usually means that you have mispelt the folder/directory name in the dropdown publishing box.

I haven't changed anything since I started publishing. The directory is spelled correctly. I don't have much time to try and fix this using this forum. I need someone to call me 508-326-0908 and talk me through it while I'm looking at the screen.

Sure Ill call you all day long.. right after you pay me to do this. Come on... we are all volunteers. We dont get paid to CALL people or post step by steps etc. If you do the tutorials as has been suggested.. read the threads as suggested.

If you dont have the time... why would you expect that we do?

I have said this many times before, so I will repeat it again.

ALL three items must be correct in the dropdown publishing box, so check the server number as well......sometimes computers or users drop or change the info.

I have read the threads and the tutorials and I have the same problem as Alesail.
I have checked many times the spelling in the dropdown publishing box and everything seems fine.
What's going on?????? It is very frustrating!
