Thread: Publishing question

Hi All

Something a little odd has started happening now when I publish my pages. They publish fine but when I check the page online after it is published it is all over the place. a couple of examples below:

The hompage. Look at the Tap Link bar. The third Bar (Practitionar) is missing)

- http://www.imrateam.com/membership.html
Again at the top tool bar the Memeber Room Bar is missing but when you hover over it it appears!

Look at the very bootom of the page. The trainer bar is covering the whole page

- http://www.imrateam.com/bylawspagethree.html
Page is all black!

This is the first time it has started happening. I even put in the HTML code Bluevoda provided on all pages that shows your changes when published.

Any ideas of what it is or might be? It is probably something simple I am missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean BV 10? if so yes, but it was months ago. Is there a new version?

Yes, a newer version was issued a couple of months ago......just trying to figure out why those pages are acting differently if you havnt done anything lately !!

I installed the new version of bluevoda. re published all the pages and it is still happening. To be a little more clear about things. We have an english version of the site and I translated the site into spanish and published them also and thats when it all started going pear shaped. Basically the spanish translated pages where mirroring over the english version. I removed the spanish version files today and also from the web. The english site seems fine now but we need the spanish version up also. Any ideas?

Were the 2 versions in seperate folders ?

I have an international site with several languges without any of your problems!!

I have the Bluevoda folder with the english bv pages in them and within that folder I have another folder i called spain with the spanish BV pages. Should I remove the spain folder from the Bluevoda folder and stick it somewhere else?

Could that really be the problem? I wish I could have shown you the spanish pages but I removed them from the internet last night and re published all the english pages and now it looks fine but I am afraid to publish the spanish pages again incase the same thing happens again.

That will make no difference. To be honest page files could all sit in the same folder english or spanish, it wouldn't be causing your issues. But good idea to put them in their own folder for your own ease of mind that it's tidier, but that's all... makes no difference to your issue as I say.

Ok I tried something different yesterday. I created a subdomain and called it spain.imrateam.com and published the spanish version under the subdomain but the same thing happened! the spanish version would mirrior over the english version!! I am getting very annoyed with this and so is the chairman of the board (For IMRA) i have removed the spanish version again from the internet until I find a solution.

There must be somebody or even Bluevoda that know what I can do to fix the problem?
