Thread: Help in publishing for the first time

This is the first time that I am publishing my site. I have got a domain yourneeds.org. I am unable to publish as the error message reads password incorrect. please help! I don't know what to do.

When you registered your site, you got an e-mail from Vodahost with your password and username.
Did you use the password provided in the mail?

if you did, try copying and pasting once again as sometimes even blank spaces before or after the password gets copied.

Thanx Rick. But I managed to sort it out with VodaHost people. I published one page. The problem That I now have is that when I try to view the page through the browser it just appears as a list!! What could be wrong?

Hi, if this is your home page? http://yourneeds.org/Home.html. In BV,Press file>save as> & name the page as index & republish. The link to this page will then be http://www.yourneeds.org

Chris, I did as you told and republished but no change!! It still appears as a list.

Hi, delete any pages you have on your server with the name home or index. Then make sure your index page is named with lower case letters & re-publish. Lower case will be the same for the naming all pages.

I have a simple suggestion: What about giving a list of books witch describes the creative process of developing site webs?
