Do samples exist, displaying the numerous page transitions
so that we can actually see what such and such transition looks like,
before we decide which one to select/before we publish our website ?

They are only visible in IE not other browsers. You can try each one and preview it. They are pretty much what they say they are tho.. if you have office they are the exact same ones.
