Thread: "Error 12007"

For my fellow VHers.
I stumbled upon this error message too :

"Internet Exception Error12007
Details : The server name could not be resolved."

Nothing was spared to me and my nerves...
As soon as I saw a "name" was in question,
I clicked on the "page properties", verified if I gave a name to the said page.
No, I didn't give a name for that precise page !
In a matter of two-three seconds, intuitively, I gave it a name,
and clicked on "publish" anew : it worked perfectly well !

So, if you get a "Error 12007 message",
click on your page properties, and give that page a name !

Most likely you are now LOCKED out from repeated attempts with the incorrect password and most likely will need a password reset via support ticket.

I'm glad to tell you no, dear Karen.
At my own surprise, even if typing many times
different usernames and passwords combinations,
I wasn't locked.

I succeeded in publishing, after all.
(Yeeha !!!)

(It's certainly all these days of stubborn sitting in front of my comp',
achieving, little by little, step by step, my websites with BV,
that made me making mistakes I shouldn't have done,
such as the usernames/passwords mess....)

Everything is going much better now.
Still, some details remain to be solved,
but it's not as big a deal as some hours ago...
