Thread: Publishing my pages

MY site was just authorized today. I tried to publish my index.bvp page and got an error stating that my password was incorrect. I then copied and pasted the username and password directly into the login box and still got the same message. Is the problem that my domain name is not yet internet accessible? Please help!!

No
You should be able to publish straight away, but it could take up to 72 hrs before the site url has propogated around the www net.

Check that you have the correct server number in the publishing dropdown box.

You were correct! Thanks! I really need help with making my index page work. When I enter my URL: http://www.ehsnkaty.net, I get the contents of my public-html folder. I am confused. Can you help me with understanding the publishing process?

That's an easy one, lance--your index page is saved with a capital I. Rename it "index" and republish.

That means you did not save you home page as index no spaces, no extensions. Go back and "save as" index and republish.
