Thread: Hi guys, Yet another publising issue!...

Hello guys, after abit of advice!

Read previous problems but non have helped :(

Just created my website thanks to bluevoda. I've published my website no problem at all and i can see all the files in the Cpanel. I've saved my "homepage" as "index" aswell but when i type my domain name in www.mshpatservices.co.uk a bluevoda hosting page comes up and not my website?....

You must have just signed up then? That is a place holder while they are setting up your account. Check back periodically could take upto 24 hours

Starting to get on my wick abit :(...I've gone over everything many many times!...Even tried creating another website from scratch as a tester. Still no joy!..

I purchased the domain name and webhosting as a package.

Got the client on my back :(

Put in a support ticket and ask them whats going on, we are users just like you and don't have anything to do with that.

Have you pointed your dns to the voda servers ??????????

Ok thanks, just thought someone on here would be able to point me in the right direction.

Well i bought a package together and it said on the email if i bought the package i wouldn't need to do so. But its worth a shot as its the only thing i can see which could be wrong. How do i do so?...Thanks

Thanks david, but i have allready trowled through those.

I have saved my homepage as "index", no capitols, no "." extensions such as .html etc.

I have then published them via blue voda to the Cpanel where the files go into the "public_html" folder and can also be seen on the "www" folder.

Now when i go to www.mshpatservices.co.uk i'm just conftonted with the vodahost page. When i type www.mshpatservices.co.uk/index.html all i get is "error 404" site maintainance, please wait 90 minutes. Well i have been waiting for 4 days.

Really confused and getting stressed out. Opened a support ticket but i was just told to press F5 10 times really quick?....Not really sure what that has to do with my website not being shown correctly?
