Thread: New site publishing

Hi
I am so very new to this. I have made the site and tried to publish. Pictures are not showing up and some of the pages have an error message. I changed my page names and tried again. Do I have to do something with the url? What is that and what do I do with it? Sorry if I sound stupid-am really trying to get this. Thanks for any and all help.

What did you title your pages? Names should be as short as possible.

Your images are also not showing up.
Did you copy and paste or did you load into your webpage using the BV image tool?

I feel that you should organize your cPanel first as I can see a lot more pages being created for all the above links.

Goto cPanel > public_html and create new folder. One for each of the above sections.

1. market...name your page "farmers_market" and publish to "public_html/market"

2. vendor...name your page "our_vendors" and publish to "public_html/vendor"

3. auction
4. store
5. events

Do the same for the rest of the pages.

For each page you will need to enter the URL full address under hyperlink properties.

Example of url: http://www.bockcreamery.com/farmers_market.html

Then reload all your images using the BV image tool.

After all the above are done, preview each and ever page before publishing.

I too am having trouble publishing. I do not have a BlueVoda Account since my husband has us using HostPapa since it is Canadian. I am in Manitoba, Canada. Your BlueVoda Website Building tools are much more user friendly. My IP# is not on your list. It that because I am on HostPapa? My IP# is 67.220.225.160 but I am using your building tools to construct my website. Can I mix the two?

BV will only work on a Vodahost server with a paid Vodahost account.
