Thread: Publishing help please

I have completed the initial stages of my website and have published it. (Created in BV and published via icon) It tells me the site has been published successfully, however, when I enter details in address bar all that comes up is the Index Of/ etc.

I created the site using the tutorials and believe I have saved everything as it should be.

Can someone help please? I have searched forums but am just getting more and more confused!!

PS: I should also say that I cannot see the files in cPanel/File manager in public_html

You have published your
index
page as Index and it should be
index
(delete the index page (On the web) that is capitalized and rename then republish your index page.

I too am having trouble publishing. I am trying to publish from the icon and it just sits there and finally I get message that site is not responding. I have tried and tried.

Also, with pages that have forms do I change from html to php in page properties just before attempting to publish?

when ever i try to publish the pages using icon it gives error that pages are not saved ,i saved all the pages but why error occur???plz help and thank you so much bluevoda ppl .

After you select publish or select the publish icon
ensure that the IP number displayed is your IP address.

Otherwise scroll down and search for the correct IP and then only publish.
