Default Page naming and linking them together

Hi, i have read a bunch of these threads and watched all the tutorials. There is one problem that i am encountering but i think i may have fixed it. correct me if i am wrong. in order to successfully name my home page as http://www.mysite.com/index.html all i have to do is to SAVE it as "index" and then the program does the rest of the work for me (if i am correct then im guessing that this goes for every other page i.e. if i want to make a contact page i save it as "contact"). Please right back as soon as possible.
    Thank You,
    Edan Yachdav

You are correct. But note that any page with a form on it will have the php extension when linking.

Except a contact page normally has a form for the person to fill out. A form will cause BV to automatically publish a page named contact as contact.php. Your link must refer to contact.php, not contact.html.

A good rule of thumb when reading an answer given to any question you ask is to check the number of posts made by the person who gives the answer. D'son's answer above is totally accurate, and he has over 2,000 posts.

sanny, never jump in on someone elses thread with a question, always start your own (as you did in your other post) but here is a link to help with linking your pages.
