    Default Internet Explorer Error 12014

    Username: ROYSTONE
    Website: ourlamp.com

    I tried to publish my index page but I got the following message:
    "Internet Explorer Error 12014
    Details:
    The request to connect and logon to FTP server could not
    be completed because password supplied is incorrect"

    I checked the password several times and it is correct.

    Your help please.

    Make sure you are trying to publish to the right IP address, many look similar.

    Thanks for the suggestion. You were right on the button.
    I used the wrong IP. However, when I used the correct IP
    I get the following message: "ERROR: 550 Can't change directory
    to public_html. No such directory.

    Your guidance please.

    When you are on the login panel it should have, by default, public_html in the Folder area dont change anything. Some people try to add extra things, you have not added anything to this have you?

    Roy..

    Make sure you have logged into VBS and manage your domain name. Make sure it is pointing to the vodahost servers included in your welcome email. If there are four listings there.. then this is the issue. Select custom and put the two ns xx.voda .com in the lines.. without xx and spaces of course.

    Now see if you can publish..if not..

    Can you type in your domain and tell us what you get when u do? If you are getting a page not found or redirected to vodahost..your account isnt finished being set up.. put in a support ticket if this is the case and explain clearly the issue and that you cant publish or resolve your domain on the new account.
