| Ok, today was the big publishing day! I thought all was well till the last page. I received a "successful" message for all my pages, but when you go to my website and click on FAQ you get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Second problem you click on any other page for instance Wet Bouncers than you click to the HOME tab and you get Not Found The requested URL /home.html was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request. Here is the website www.blessedbouncers.com please check it out and see if you can help solve these problems. A little background info - please remember - that I consider my computer skills to be a hair above computer illiterate – so be kind and give specific details What I tried – I reviewed all the navigation properties Name: FAQ Alternate Text: FAQ Link Type: http: URL: http://blessedboncers.com/faq.html (later corrected to http://blessedbouncers.com/faq.html ) Target: _self Name: Home Alternate Text: Home Link Type: http: URL: http://blessedbouncers.com/home.html Target: _self The above is the same on all the pages and each page was saved and republished. |

That did not work - I was looking at older posts to see if someone had my same problem...one post said to check the cpanel... this is what I found Under File Manager Name----------Size----------Type----------Perms FAQ-Info.html--41.37--------text/html-------0644 I clicked on that to view and this is part of what I saw: FAQ-Info.html HTML document text <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>Frequently Asked Questions and Information Page</title> Could the problem be FAQ-Info.html If it is how did I get the -Info if what I typed was just FAQ and HOW CAN IT BE FIXED If this is not the problem...can someone please try again to help figure it out. |

| NEVER MIND -- I FIGURED IT OUT --read through old post and through a combo of things got it working I was a problem with how I named the page in my BV folder I called the page FAQ-info, but labled it http://blessedbouncers.com/faq.html so when it was publishing it was attaching FAQ-info in cpanel therefore not finding it, but when I discovered this I went ahead and completely re-typed http://blessedbouncers.com/faq.html in the navigation properties of the page - and now it is working. Thank you to all who viewed and pondered this problem of mine |
