Thread: I must be a complete idiot

Hi can anyone give me a step by step way of publishing. I have published it several times and deleted it because all that shows up is a page full of files. I am at this for hours, looking up threads and videos and nothing is working, so need help badly

Your 1st published page should be named index in lower case letters.

Hey there, you just need to put in your user/password (which I am sure you have figured out) and then type in the name of the folder you want them to go to /public_html/"websiteurl" and then select from the drop down menu... publish all files.

Make sure to call your first page index as it will be your homepage.

Should be okay after that, if you need more help let me know.

Site seems to have published okay, as I can see it!

I'm viewing FF, and everything has loaded to the right hand side of the screen, I think you may have to alter the page size to how it loads, before you go on to do the rest of the site! (I'm new to all of this, so I can't give you a technical answer as to how to reslove...)

FF is becoming a pain....

Hi, the image you are using for the background is way to large for web use. Its also giving your page a lot of side scroll.
