Thread: How do I Name My Website???

I have No Idea how to name my website or make the links to other pages like photo album how do i make a link on the home page that says photo album?? please help me

Your best bet is to watch/read as many of the tutorials on BlueVoda as you can......then watch them again!
You'll be amazed how helpful they are.
Then....use the search facility for the forum that covers any problem you have
then....when you are STILL stuck, ask a question in the relavant forum.
It may sound UNhelful or a little boring to do this, but believe me, it's such a good way to learn & you wont forget so easily as when someone just gives you the answers all the time.

I strongly agree with Ahimsa,

You must read the tutorial and watch the videos.
I know I was in a hurry too to have my website built and
running and would be a darling of the search engines;
a billion people would know about it and would be an overnight success.

It takes time. VodaHost says you can build a decent looking website
in one evening sitting and can publish it the next day. I believe that.

But that time starts only when you have gone through most of the
tutorial. There are very basic things like linking - even though BlueVoda
is arguably the easiest website builder (editor) - that you have to learn
about.

Read as much as you can about Voda Utitlities.
I used to tell my kids when they were in school,
the slower you do your homework,
the faster you would finish it. And you know why?
The less mistake you would make.

Naming your website
As far as naming your website, some people name it
to reflect their business what the nature of their business is.

It's better but not essential. Search engines look at the
title of the page, content on a page, especially the first paragraph,
keywords reflecting your business and such.

You can name it anything you want.

As u have heard a few times, watch the videos...over & over & over again until they come out of your ears and u r dreaming about them at night.

Then....spend time reading in the forums and read all of these!

Now u r ready to start, but before u ask a question, use the search feature; once, twice, three times...as if u were searching 4 gold.
Most questions have been asked over & over again!

I like it; I was looking for exactly that yesterday or today to use in a similar thread. I think I am going to use in the future, because it is perfect 4 here.
