    Question Help please...

    Hello,

I am having a problem, I’ve finally transferred domain and that is all working ok, and I have built index/home page, and published it, but what is showing is a text-list of the elements of the page. My site is: www.elegancereclaimed.com I suspect it is something very simple I've neglected to do, but for the life of me I can’t figure out what it is.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Lynda

you have to save your page as index
    not index/homepage
    did you do that?
if not then do that and then republish it.

you need to save it as index only, blue voda will put the bvp extension and you have to choose public_html in the folder and publish all files in the files.
so when you go to file/save page as - you should type in index for the file name.

Your index file is saved as Index
    Change the I to lowercase

When you just give URL like http://www.yoururl.com/

it looks for index file with proper extension, Not Index file.

You can do either of two things:

Using our good old Bill Gates window,
go to your bluevoda directory where you save your files
    and rename Index.bvp to index.bvp

or save it in BV as index and then you remove Index file,
you remove it to not get confused with it in future.

After you publish, using FTP delete Index.html file
    from the server.

So the search engine robots would see only index.html to
    work with.
