Thread: Published updated files failed to show up

I have had BV for a while now and haven't experienced this problem before but when I update the files and publish them they are just not appearing in the correct version but remain in the old version. I hit the refresh biutton many timea and re-publsihed using various methods such as HTML files only , all files and updated files only but still cannot get any result. I have checked the address etc but have no idea what the problem is. Can anyone help please.

Hi Sarah,
if it is a caching problem this works for me:

page html
between head tag
type in this EXACTLY (including spaces etc)

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">

save page
publish

Would need your pages url with a (1 item) before & after description.

Hi Chris,

No it didn't work I pasted the html as you advised and I have tried refreshing it as well but it just won't shift form the old version. Any clues?

It could be one of 10 things, thats why we "Would need your pages url with a (1 item) before & after description".

Voda may be doing Server Up Grading one by one.
I think, will be back soon.

I have removed the speech bubble and changed the text mostly by deleting the last paragraph.

The last paragraph i cant comment on as i wouldn't know what was there. But your speech buble is still there, assuming its the one with "Beijing native teacher" on. If you have removed this & saved the page, make sure you have the publishing area set to "publish all files" & you are publishing to public_html directory.
PS> Your pages are set at 904 wide & would centre on the screen better at 792.

Thanks for the feedback, basicallly I have taken the bubble off and the last paragraph and have rereshed it at least 50 times plus saved it and published it as 'all file' updated files' etc but it just won't change.
You mention the width but on my measurement I can see it only as just under 800. what do you see? I thought it looked rather piddly on my monitor and was going to make it wider, but I will hold off on that one for now!

Myabe I should submit a support ticket, because the probelm has been hanging on for a while now.

Are you publishing to IP 75.126.169.138 ?? You might of been one of the server upgrades.
