Thread: Need help publishing.

My site is www.innovativesynthetics.com. I've just recently upgraded to the lastest version, but it still won't let me publish a page. I've never had this problem before as you can see i've published 1000's of times before.
My selected IP address is the same as always. What is the problem?

Are you getting any errors come up?
Are you publishing all files?
Can you name one item of change you have made. (A before & after)

Error message is 12029.
The attempt to connect to server failed.
Publish changed files only.

Would be worth checking that your fire wall is letting the new version connect. Add the BV program to it again.

Done. Still won't let me connect.

OK. When I go to publish a page, is MY IP address suppose to be included in that long list of IP addresses. Because if it is, I don't see my IP address in that list. So if it is not, how do I go about getting my IP address on that list. I've tried down loading the latest version of BV twice already and it didn't contain my IP address.

Make sure you have the latest version of BV

Probably the case is that you are on one of those servers replaced lately, so your IP address has changed. Use the IP address Marincky suggested.

Your new Voda7 server IP is 75.126.104.132 and your new control panel login url is http://75.126.104.132/cpanel , your cPanel username and password will remain the same.

There seems to be a conflick here. Do I use 75.126.104.131 or 75.126.104.132. I know 131 works and 132 doesn't. But if I want to use the faster server, shouldn't I use 132. Also what is a Voda 7 user and how can I tell if I'm one.

I too have upgraded to Voda7 and am now unable to publish any of my three websites. They are:

http://www.korcmilledgeville.org - 67.228.244.198
http://www.therosarystation.com - 75.126.104.132
I have tired using 75.126.104.131 and 75.126.104.132 which was the server my update message told me to use does not work for any of the sites.
Can you direct me to which server(s) I should be using.

Why do you reckon that I cannot publish and I have been able to up until I up graded to Voda7? I have gone through all the normal checks that I have read from the various forum posts. I am obviously missing something, but it is sort of odd that I would be missing something on each site.

I looked up your ip address & all the above IP's seemed to be correct.
I can only suggest checking that your login details are defiantly correct & if this has all been done & still no joy, pop in a support ticket.
