Open Realty

I have been attempting to install a Fantastico program Open Realty. I follow the exact procedure to install it as I did with Word Press (its the same type Fantastico install wizard). . .but each time (I've installed-uninstalled several attempts) I can see the admin site but the user site only produces this error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/jgmbgvhg/public_html/househunterforyou/carolrealtor/template/lazuli/main.html on line 1

I followed the procedure but I still only get this message. I went into my file manager and looked inside the folder. ..clicked on index.php and still the error message comes up. . .no user page. Does this mean something is wrong with the index.php file itself?

McBuff..

You say you can enter the admin? Then do so and configure your template.. I assume by user its the view the public sees.. and the admin. .is where you login to present it and work on it..etc. It probably hasnt generated a USER page or a regular index page until you complete the configuration in the admin panel. If you still continue with errors.. go to their site and read their HOW TO's

I'll give that a try. . .I've was already thinking that and had gone there to attempt that but I didn't see anything off-hand that indicated something like this. . .I do see an index.php page in the folder. ..anyway . . I will look closer as per your advice and take to their forum if I can't figure it out. . .thanks

I see you must have fixed it http://www.househunterforyou.com/carolrealtor/ but would if i was you go to their website and downloading and manualy installing the latest version. also little tip have a good text editer handy and check the website for plug-ins and templates. we done one last year demo

Thanks A.D for that. . I will do. . .I have a lot to learn about how to effectively use this particular tool. The problem I was having was I was getting the error message when I would go to the user address. . .but it turned out that the default template (Lazuli) was not working for some reason. All the other templates worked however. . so I just switched over.
