Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

it's almost 24 hrs now. stil the same error is displayed everytime i try to access my SMF forum. please give me help to solve this.

i tried to access the FANTASTICO. im just wondering y there's NO CURRENT SMF INSTALLATION found there. DELETED? but the SMF folder is still in the file manager. this is driving me crazy. PLEASE can ANYOBODY HELP ME>???

Well I dont know.. im not sure what you are asking? Did you install the SMF? Can you post a link, where in the filemanager is the folder?

obviously, i installed the SMF thru Fantastico. it's running for 3 months already.
just yesterday i encountered such error until now. any help please?

Well obviously I cant tell that from what you typed or I wouldnt have asked. They may no longer carry it in fantastico and if your server was redone this could be a reason why its no longer found there.

Now.. where in file manager is the SMF folder located, and are there any files in there? If no files reside in the folder then they have somehow gotten deleted. If yours is one of the servers recently replaced Voda 12...then put in a support ticket for them to redo your backup.

Also ALWAYS post a link to what you are talking about. Even if we dont understand what you are talking about.. we can get ALOT of info from the link.

One more thing... this forum is VOLUNTARY ASSISTANCE. We dont get paid to have all the answers and tho its frustrating please have some patience.

ok thanks karen.
yes! the smf folder can still be found on the FILE MANAGER in the Cpanel.

i did check the Mysql Database, i can no longer find the SMF databse. I dont know what caused it. Is there remedy to retrieve it?
